Love You Louis made virtually all and slight lead until asserted inside final 2f, hard driven final furlong, just held on
Souter´s Sister chased leaders, went 2nd just inside final furlong, stayed on well under pressure close home, just failed
Bobs Dreamflight towards rear and ridden 3f out, headway approaching final furlong and edged left, stayed on strongly final 75yds, going on close home
Hail Promenader slowly intou stride, behind, pushed along 2f out, good headway approaching final furlong, switched left, stayed on strongly final 75yds, finished well
Sweet Applause with winner, ridden halfway, lost 2nd just inside final furlong, faded close home
Timeteam took keen hold, in touch, ridden 2f out, fading when nudged left 1f out
Amour Propre chased leaders, ridden 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Lucky Punt in touch, ridden halfway, soon beaten
Arachnophobia slowly into stride, driven and outpaced most of way
Vien slowly into stride, always outpaced
He was two and a half lengths clear at the furlong pole, but the uphill finish was finding him out late on and he would not have held on for too much longer. His future probably lies in nurseries now, and an easier track ought to suit him well.
Souter's Sister had the best form going into the race, but she was drawn on the wide outside. She went after the winner in the final furlong and was closing at the finish, as were the third and fourth.
Sweet Applause pressed the winner for a long way but weakened in the closing stages. This was a step in the right direction.
Timeteam took akeen hold and raced in touch for a fair way, Amour Propre flashed his tail on the way to the post and weakened quickly after chasing the pace.
