Analyis of the race
No great pace and a packing field but no hard-luck stories.
STRABINIOS KING tracked the pace going well and got a dream run through up the inside rail to wear down The City Kid, who enjoyed the step up of a furlong and raced as if he will get further. He has looked a hard ride in the past but did it sweetly enough here after settling better with cover.
Shaded Edge showed good pace without looking like winning and looks more an out-and-out sprinter.
