Leprechaun´s Gold mid-division, effort and not clear run 3f out, stayed on well final furlong

Cecina Marina with leaders, led 3f out until 1f out, kept on same pace

Cape Dancer mid-division, effort over 3f out, never reached leaders

Skye But N Ben held up in rear, headway on inside 4f out, never near leaders

Classic Hall led after 1f, headed 3f out, weakened final furlong

Fire In Cairo dwelt, soon prominent, weakened over 2f out

Ellies Faith led 1f, chased leaders, driven over 4f out, weakened 2f out

Prince Rossi dwelt, held up in rear, effort over 4f out, never a factor, behind final 2f

This was a very modest seller with five of the runners rated below the mark of 45 off which they have to run.

ELITE LAND had done enough last time to suggest he could win a race of this nature and he won all out and maybe with a bit of luck.

The runner-up Psycho Cat, showing much better form than he had on his first two outings of the campaign, drifted across to the stands' side and was beaten only a head.

Cecina Marina, 4lb out of the handicap, made an encouraging return to action.

Cape Dancer ran all right and a drop back to a mile and a quarter would suit.
