Bolckow had been soundly beaten in both previous outings this season but must have needed those as he ran a good deal better here, leading over three furlongs out until over a furlong out. He has got himself well handicapped now.
Tykie Two was taking on better opposition than when a 100-1 winner here in May and this sound effort off a 5lb higher mark - leading over four furlongs out until over three furlongs out - showed her success was no flash in the pan.
Senor Set missed the whole of 2007 and showed his first form since returning to action, though he lost his place before the back straight and was never really dangerous thereafter. His sole win came over 1m6f and he is worth bearing in mind if stepped back up in trip in poor company.
Favourite Spanish Conquest was beaten some way out and may not have been suited by Fibresand. He could be worth another chance back on Polytrack.
