Royal Storm raced against near side rail, made all and soon clear, ridden over 2f out, pressed over 1f out, stayed on stoutly
Dingaan tracked winner, closed from over 2f out, produced to challenge over 1f out, not go through with effort and held final furlong
Lordship chased leaders, hard ridden and effort 2f out, tried to challenge on outer just over 1f out, not quicken
The Fifth Member tracked leading pair, ridden and lost place 2f out, not quicken and no impression after
Desert Dreamer taken down early, very awkward start, well behind in last pair, tried to close from over 2f out, hanging badly but kept on
Kensington dwelt, soon in touch, effort towards outer over 2f out, not quicken well over 1f out, soon lost place
Flying Goose raced on outer, held up behind leaders, floundering and weakened 2f out
Networker held up in last pair and well off the pace, no progress over 2f out, eased over 1f out
Winless since 2004, the 9-y-o shaped with promise on his seasonal return and, with conditions not be as soft as connections had feared, he was able to take advantage of being drawn in the plum spot, despite his jockey putting up 3lb overweight.
Dingaan doesn't win very often and he once again had every chance, racing close to the pace but never having the pace to go by the winner and he's not the safest betting conveyance.
The Fifith Member kept on having raced in touch but he could never land a blow and he may need some assistance from the assessor.
Desert Dreamer needs a sound surface to be seen at his best, while Kensington's effort was shortlived and he couldn't run to the same level as at Lingfield on Saturday night.
