North South Divide is not the easiest of rides but this run showed his recent Salisbury display to be all wrong. Cheekpieces and a drop to sprinting are helping the four-year-old,who having hit the crossbar in both handicap outings will surely go one better soon.
Blessed Place set what turned out to be a suicidal pace. Though 4lb out of the handicap, he lasted a lot longer than on his comeback outing to show he is getting ready to win. Perhaps he would have finished closer if leading and saving himself rather than committing.
