Addikt mostly in midfield, under pressure and not much room 2f out, stayed on from over 1f out, nearest finish

Mr Hichens tracked leaders and raced on outer, ridden and effort 2f out, kept on well enough but never quite able to challenge

Feasible tracked winner 3f, stayed very close up against near side rail, poised to challenge 2f out, reminder over 1f out, not quicken and held final furlong

Seventh Hill close up behind leaders, ridden 2f out, kept on from over 1f out, never able to challenge

Closertobelieving slowly into stride, soon recovered, held up in midfield on inner, going well from over 2f out but nowhere to go and never asked a question

Themwerethedays held up in last pair, going well but still last 2f out, switched left to wide outside over 1f out, stayed on, no chance

Coole Dodger taken down early and free to post, took keen hold, held up in midfield, lost place over 2f out, kept on but no real impression from over 1f out

Hawk Flight slowly into stride, well in rear, ridden over 2f out, hanging left but kept on from over 1f out, no danger

Where´s Susie held up in midfield, effort on outer 3f out, chasing leaders 2f out, faded final furlong

Calistos Quest took keen hold, held up in rear, progress on outer over 2f out, pressed leaders over 1f out, weakened final furlong

Stage Acclaim held up in last pair, effort on outer over 2f out, close enough well over 1f out, faded

This looked an aove average race of its nature and all credit to VINEYARD for sticking to the task under pressure to resist Politeia, all out. The step up to a mile proved a boon for the winner for whom the booking of Ryan Moore looked and proved significant.

Politeia improved for some easier ground to show that she will soon be losing her maiden tag. Upsides the winner throughout the final furlong, she went down in a head bob. This was an improved display.

The same can be said of Addikt and Mr Hichens. Addikt was coming back from a protracted break but kept on well, showing a step up in distance was a plus, while Mr Hichens bounced back from a couple of disappointing runs to raise his game on softer ground. There are races to be won with him.
