She had cut little ice on her reappearance in a mile handicap at the Guineas meeting but was soon into her stride over this furlong-shorter trip and held on well. Her stable are very much in form now and on this showing she should have more to offer.
Danae had made all when winning on her reappearance at Newmarket, and was soon holding a handy position behind the leader. She was brought with a well-timed run to try and bustle up the winner over a furlong out, but just flattened out a little inside the final furlong. She was having only her third outing, and could well improve further. There are certainly other racesto be won with her.
Kay Es Jay was suited by the return to seven furlongs and ran her best race this season. She came just a little wide towards the centre with her effort over a furlong out and put in an performance which suggests she can soon improve on this placing in a similar contest.
Steam Cuisine tracked the leader from the start and probably ran right up to her mark as she kept on at the same pace inside the final furlong and probably provides the benchmark to this form.
