Tranos chased leaders, led 2 out, driven out
Eumene always prominent, effort and every chance 2 out, kept on under pressure from last
Cast Iron Casey led, mistake 4 out, headed 2 out, kept on same pace from last
Pay On in touch, driven and outpaced 3 out, left 4th next, no impression
King´s Envoy chased leaders to 3 out, soon ridden and weakened
Gondolin held up in touch, weakened from 3 out
Danehill Silver held up, effort when hit 3 out, weakened before next
Stravonian behind, lost touch halfway, tailed off
Another Ambition held up, steady headway and in touch 3 out, ridden, 4 lengths 4th and looked held when fell next
Eumene, back over a trip which is arguably on the sharp side, ran a decent race in defeat, just coming out on top for second ahead of Cast Iron Casey, who had been raised 7lb since his latest win. He is plainlyin good nick.
King's Envoy was beaten a long way into fifth. Another Ambition, an Irish raider, took a keen hold in the early stages after being dropped in. He made an effort four out and was soon chasing the leading group, but he looked held in fourth when he came to grief two out.
