Go West led to 6th, led approaching 10th, drawing clear when mistake 13th, unchallenged after
Rebel Melody chased leaders, went 2nd approaching 13th, no threat to winner
Dare Too Dream behind, outpaced final circuit, went poor 3rd 3 out, never on terms
The Artful Fox behind, mistake 12th, soon toiling, never on terms
Just Talking in touch, lost place 10th, ridden along and toiling before 13th
Penfull held up, headway to chase leaders 9th, blundered 12th, struggling from 13th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Porterstown Dream towards rear, blundered 12th, effort 14th, no impression, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Missisipi Assassin handy, led 6th, headed approaching 10th, lost 2nd before 13th, 3rd when pulled up quickly after 14th
He had only one semblance of a danger from the home turn and he never looked likely to be caught, coming home a comfortable winner. He probably did not need to improve much to win as he did but he has the makings of a fair staying chaser.
Only rival to make any sort of impression from 4 out was Rebel Melody, but he had no chance with the winner in the closing stages. He came a distance clear of the rest and was a fair hurdler, so should win over fences.
The Artful Fox is another point-to-point winner who could make little impression.
Missisipi Assassin attracted support and showed to the fore from the off. He was still in third place when he was pulled up after the 14th fence. He has been lightly raced and has clearly had problems, but he may have ability.
Jockey Andrew Tinkler reported that Porterstown Dream had a breathing problem.
