Tynedale prominent, outpaced 6th, headway to chase leaders 13th, stayed on run-in to take 3rd place near finish
Monte Cristo prominent, outpaced 12th, stayed on one pace run-in
Eskimo Jack led to 9th, outpaced 4 out, lost 2nd last, weakened final furlong
Hip Pocket prominent, joined leader 13th, weakened 4 out
Finest Of Men in rear, behind from 6th, tailed off 4 out
Trooper jumped slowly 1st, soon behind, tailed off 6th
Fresh Love prominent, lost place 12th, behind when pulled up before next
My Wee Woman prominent, blundered and unseated rider 8th

Jupiter's Fancy was only fifth a circuit from home, but went third with four to jump and ran on to take second place without ever threatening the easy winner. The same comment applies to Tynedale back in third.
