Scutch Mill tracked leaders, took keen hold, outpaced 2 out, good headway 1f out, led final 75yds, held on towards finish
Nevsky Bridge held up, headway to chase leaders 5th, stayed on well final furlong, just held
Divvys Dream chased leaders, stayed on same pace final furlong
Emotive in rear, outpaced 3 out, headway approaching last, brought wide approaching final furlong, stayed on
Kristiansand headway to lead 3rd, headed after 5th, led last, headed 75yds out, faded
Nounou held up, headway to track leaders 5th, led after 2 out, headed last, hung right and weakened final furlong
Pay On prominent, driven 5th, soon outpaced, no threat after
Besi not fluent in rear, lost place after 5th, kept on run-in
Samizdat led to 3rd, led after 5th, headed after 2 out, weakened over 1f out
Lofty Leader prominent, lost place 5th, soon behind, tailed off 2 out
Galiana held up in rear, effort 5th, weakened quickly and pulled up before 2 out
Nevsky Bridge was another to come from the back of the bunch to take second place. He had been upsides the winner at the last and stayed on well without being quite able to get his head in front.
Kristiansand led or disputed the lead for much of the race and was tapped for toe between the last two and stayed on at one pace.
Joint favourite Samizdat had taken the lead jumping the last from the well-backed Nounou, but neither was able to raise another effort on the run-in.
