Cortinas held up in rear, headway 3 out, switched left next, led last, cruised clear, easily
Parlesotho took keen hold, tracked leaders on inner, effort to lead 2 out, headed last, kept on but no chance with winner
Amwell Brave held up in midfield, effort and switched right 2 out, kept on under pressure flat to go 3rd near finish, no chance with winner
Quantique waited with in touch, headway 5th, every chance and not fluent next, outpaced between last 2
Flanagans Choice took keen hold, chased leaders until went 2nd 4th, led and hit 3 out, headed before next, beaten and mistake last
Honeybrook took keen hold, in touch, headway to lead after 3 out, headed 2 out, soon beaten
Travel Guide took keen hold, chased leader until led 3rd, headed after 5th, weakened quickly 3 out
Mighty Kitchener held up towards rear, mistake 1st, ridden and effort after 5th, no impression, well beaten when hit last
Only Hope took keen hold, held up in rear, not fluent and ridden 5th, soon struggling
Homeleighwildchild led, jumped left 2nd, headed next, weakened after 4th, tailed off from 3 out
Parlesotho, a dual winner on the Flat in France and here having her second run since joining Alan King's stable, probably ran to the same mark as when runner-up at Hereford at the start of the month, but she had no answer to the winner's change of gear.
Amwell Brave, who is rated only 50 on the Flat and was beaten off that mark at Southwell last week, kept on for a respectable third, outstaying Quantique, who was having her first outing since running fifth over 1m4f on the Flat in France nine months ago and, after having every chance off the home turn, could not sustain her challenge late on.
