Justwhateverulike close up, led between last 2, drew clear approaching last
Blast The Past held up, headway and prominent 3 out, left close 3rd next, kept on same pace last
Divex held up, driven and outpaced after 3 out, kept on from last, never dangerous
Made In France close up, led and maintained decent gallop from 3rd, headed between last 2, weakened run-in
Stormy Beech set decent gallop to 3rd, close up until weakened from 3 out, tailed off
Chateau Rouge behind, struggling halfway, no impression when hampered, slipped and fell 2 out
Northern Quest held up in touch, headway and close up 3 out, 2 lengths down and pushed along when slipped and fell next
Filey Buoy mistakes in rear, losing touch when fell 4 out
Banchory Two chased leaders until weakened before 4 out, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
The winner was always travelling well, and going on after the second-last, drew clear in good style on the flat to scorepushed out. Two miles on fast ground seems ideal for him and he's thriving at present.
Blast The Past, ridden from off the pace, got without a couple of lengths of the leaders going to the second-last, but she couldn't quicken, while though he had finished closer to the winner last time, Made In France wasn't at all disgraced considering he helped set the strong gallop, though he was beaten after the second-last.
