Another Jameson close up, led 3 out to next, soon ridden and weakened
Compton Eclaire midfield, driven and outpaced 4 out, soon beaten
Wensleydale Web pulled hard, led to 3 out, soon struggling
Thenford Sir pulled hard, close up to 5th, soon lost place, pulled up before 4 out
Paddymcgintysgoat soon behind and struggling, tailed off when pulled up before 4 out
Teenybash towards rear, driven and struggling halfway, soon tailed off, pulled up before last
Starofthemorning prominent, driven before 2 out, soon weakened, tailed off when pulled up before last
Booster Divin, having his second run for his current yard, travelled well, and moved up looking a big threat two out, but he didn't stay on as well as the winner. This was an improved effort, but he left the impression an easier track might suit him.
Another Jameson had every chance, but she weakened very quickly, while Wensleydale Web raced keenly in the lead and faded.
