Grand Vizier slowly into stride, held up, headway over 2f out, ridden to lead 1f out, ran on
Kunte Kinteh always prominent, ridden over 1f out, hung left inside final furlong, ran on
Farefield Lodge chased leaders, led 3f out, ridden and headed 2f out, stayed on same pace inside final furlong
Marmooq mid-division, soon driven along, headway under pressure over 1f out, stayed on
Grey Boy chased leaders, led 2f out, ridden and headed 1f out, no extra
Billy Red tracked leaders, pulled hard, not much room and lost place over 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong
Hazytoo steadied start, behind until stayed on inside final furlong, never near to challenge
Djalalabad chased leaders, ridden 2f out, weakened final furlong
Louisiade led 4f, weakened over 1f out, eased
Massams Lane held up, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened
Whistleupthewind tracked leaders, pulled hard, ridden over 1f out, soon hung left and weakened
Foreland Sands held up, ridden and weakened over 2f out
Kunte Kinteh signaled his return to form as he held a prominent position throughout and kept on and he could find a little race soon.
Farefield Lodge had the visor on for the first time and led towards the far side over two furlongs out before keeping on at the same pace when headed. He ran a reasonable race once more. Grey Boy was soon chasing and made headway to lead two furlongs out but faded once headed at the furlong pole.
Billy Red ran a respectable race without suggesting he will be on the winning trail in the near future.
Hazytoo was the interesting horse in the race as he was slowly away and trailing the field but he kept on well in the final furlong and he is definitely one to bear in mind for a similar race in the near future.
