Analyis of the race

Another ordinary handicap and few could be taken seriously on recent form. ACAPULCO BAY was back on turf after clearly not enjoying the sand and he dropped his maiden tag. He was narrowly out of the handicap, not including his rider's allowance, so the form has to be questionable taking everything into account.

Double Spectre has won here but that was on fast ground and he may improve when getting his favoured underfoot conditions.

April Fool was not as exposed as most of these and the ground would not have been a problem. However, he did not seem to see out the trip.

Ryan's Future plugged on but there are no surprises in him, while Blockley never got competitive and is becoming expensive to follow.
