Analyis of the race
It will be a surprise if many of these rise above this grade and even the few making their handicap debuts appeared nothing to get carried away about. MAYBE I WILL showed marked improvement from her seasonal return to regain winning form. She had gone off the boil since a success last term and has been cajoled back to form by her new trainer. However, she will have more to do next time.
The Willowy Wigeon may well be suited by a bit further but she is entitled to come on for this seasonal debut.
Holden Caulfield is beginning to look one paced and his manoeuvre left close home may have cost Bon Ton Roulet fourth spot, but the latter has had a few chances.
