Came Back tracked leaders, effort well over 1f out, led and edged left over 1f out, ran on well
Obe Gold soon bustled in rear, switched right well over 1f out, ran on well final furlong, went 2nd towards finish, not trouble winner
Tilly´s Dream in touch in midfield, ridden and headway 2f out, edged left just over 1f out, chased winner just inside final furlong, kept on same pace, lost 2nd towards finish
Sweet Pickle held up in touch, effort and not much room just over 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Royal Island slowly into stride, behind, headway on outer 3f out, kept on final furlong but never pace to trouble leaders
Mango Music led, ridden 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Rainbow Mirage steadied start, behind, effort and ridden 2f out, never threatened leaders
Fromsong chased leaders on inner, ridden and short of room just over 1f out, soon weakened
Cerebus chased leader, ridden over 2f out, weakening when short of room over 1f out, no chance after
He has been raised 25lb since his winning spree began in January, but he travelled like a dream in behind the pace before scooting clear early in the straight and putting his seal on the race. This was some performance conceding weight to the strongest set of rivals he has faced and the handicapper has still not got hold of him.
Obe Gold, well in under his penalty for winning easily at Haydock last week, didn't seem to be travelling at any stage through the first four furlongs of the race; but he really found full stride in the closing stages and flew home down the middle of the track. He didn't really convince that Polytrack is an ideal surface for him.
