Aromatherapy held up in midfield, headway 4f out, ridden to challenge over 1f out, led inside final furlong, ran on well
August Gale chased leaders, ridden 3f out, chased leader just over 2f out, driven to lead over 1f out, edged right 1f out, headed and no extra inside final furlong
Sky Dive held up in touch, headway just over 2f out, ridden and hung left from over 1f out, ran on, not quite reach leading pair
Hustle in touch in midfield, ridden and effort over 2f out, kept on same pace under pressure final furlong
Dancer´s Legacy led, ridden 3f out, headed over 1f out, weakened over 1f out
Snowdrop Princess slowly into stride, soon bustled along in rear, headway over 4f out, ridden and outpaced over 2f out, no chance efter
Sheer Bluff slowly into stride, held up behind, ridden 3f out, no progress, well beaten final furlong 2f
Fly Kiss with leader until over 2f out, soon weakened
Honky Tonk Sally steadied after start, held up in last trio, ridden and outpaced well over 2f out, no chance after, eased inside final furlong
A maiden winner over course and distance, she was settled in midfield earlybefore being produced by Ted Durcan to challenge well over a furlong out and hit the front inside the distance. She had been given a chance by the handicapper with an initial mark of 82 and, given her pedigree, she should carry on improving this year.
August Gale ran a fine race in defeat given he went down fighting despite having been one of the trio to contest the early lead. He has shown all his best form on the all-weather and on this evidence he too is going the right way.
Hustle kept on well without displaying any real change of gear when needed, but he did at least prove his latest run all wrong.
