So Sublime held up, pulled hard, ridden and weakened over 3f out, eased over 1f out

Threecheersforanby slowly into stride, soon pushed along in rear, weakened 4f out, eased over 1f out

Another race that was little better than a seller but the step up in trip proved ideal for MILLIE'S ROCK to record her first success. She had been patiently ridden in the early stages until asked to make her progress in the final three furlongs and, switched right inside the final furlong, kept on strongly to get up close home. She clearly saw this trip out well and can find further success at this level.

South Wales had the obligatory three runs to qualify for this event on the all weather and ran much his best race to date. He raced in mid division until brought through to lead two furlongs out and was just collared close home. He was suited by the step up in trip and he can soon go one better.

Scientific ran well on his return to theturf and was hampered when the winner switched three out but had his chance in the final furlong and a drop to slightly shorter trip in this grade may do the trick.

Mganga made his headway over two furlongs out but could find no extra inside the final furlong and needs some assistance from the handicapper.

Lady Florence made the running until headed by the runner-up and at least showed some promise.

Police Officer ran as though he will do better in time in this company over a longer trip.
