Savanna´s Gold dwelt, pulled hard, behind final 4f
This was just an ordinary contest but VALATRIX, who made her debut here last October, had little trouble stepping up on that effort. She was in front from the word go and quickened up in the final furlong for a comfortable success. Her future will be determined by the handicapper but she shouldn't be overburdened for this win and can go on from here.
Buddhist Monk had a rug for stalls entry but got away well and was soon tracking the leader. He edged left in the closing stages and was only shaken up by his jockey without resorting to the whip and can repay the kindness in a similar contest.
Sunny Sprite chased the leader but could only keep on at the one pace in the final furlong and has had his chances in this grade. He could be rated too highly.
Sister Moonshine, rated 66, was close up and faded in the final furlong. She isprobably the benchmark to this race.Isabella's Fancy ran a reasonable race and is now qualified for handicaps.
