Orpen´s Art prominent, every chance 2f out, ridden to lead 1f out, headed and no extra towards finish

Maggie Kate in touch, ridden over 2f out, no headway until stayed on under pressure inside final furlong, went 4th near finish
Quaroma pressed leader, ridden to lead over 1f out, headed 1f out, weakened and lost 2 places final 100yds
L´Art Du Silence behind, detached last and lost touch well over 3f out, came very wide well over 1f out, ran on final furlong, never threatened leaders
Wavertree Princess in touch, ridden over 2f out, no impression under pressure from over 1f out
The Magic Blanket led, ridden 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakening when short of room inside final furlong, eased after
Fitolini refused to race
Yankee Storm dwelt at the start and he was being driven a long way out, still at the back of thefield, but he responded really well to pressure in the final quarter mile to pick up strongly and get his head in front close home.
Orpen's Art did little wrong under his inexperienced jockey and, having moved through to take over at the furlong marker, he stayed on well to go down fighting.
Recent course and distance winner Maggie Kate was always in touch and kept onwell, but the combination of a 5lb higher mark and stronger company put paid to her chance.
Quroma faded away in the closing stages and of more interest is L'Art Du Silence, who caught the eye with his finishing effort having been detached at halfway and coming wide into the straight.
