Some very exposed handicappers, but JARVO has shown some consistency at this sort of level and notched a third success of the year with the visor applied on this occasion. He was held up in touch before being asked for his effort in the final two furlongs and kept on well to put his head in front close home. He seems to go better in the visor and could win in his turn at this level.

Mick Is Back has shown ability at this level and put in a creditable effort after being hampered and tailed off in a seller two days earlier. He had every chance when duelling with the third in the final two furlongs and should win at this level, but it is a matter of catching him right.

Nassar had got off the mark on his previous start at Great Leighs and tracked the leader until going on two furlongs out, but was nailed near the finish. He seemed to last the trip out well enough but may be more effective over 1m.

Samahir was looking for a run up the inside in the final two furlongs but the door was shut on him by the eventual third a furlong out and on this evidence he is another who can win arace in this sort of company.

Beech Games made headway and hung left from a furlong out without reaching the leaders but at least put in a creditable effort.
