Princess Lomi held up in touch, smooth headway 3f out, led well over 1f out, ridden clear entering final furlong, stayed on
An Scaribh held up in rear, switched outside and headway 3f out, ridden over 1f out, stayed on well final furlong, nearest finish
Bouggler close up, led 3f out, ridden 2f out, driven and headed well over 1f out, kept on same pace
Tripod Molly held up in rear, switched outside and headway over 2f out, soon ridden and stayed on final furlong, nearest finish
Graylyn Ruby held up in rear, headway over 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish
Sea Admiral chased leaders, headway 3f out, ridden over 2f out and soon one pace
Rivington Pike slowly into stride, always in rear
Milanollo took keen hold, prominent on inner until ridden along over 2f out and soon weakened
Premier Class took keen hold, soon led, ridden along and headed 3f out, soon weakened
Two Imposters prominent, effort over 3f out, ridden along over 2f out and soon weakened
Caffari took keen hold, tracked leaders, saddle slipped after 4f, in rear and pulled up 3f out
This Class 5 handicap was run at a pedestrian gallop and it was not until about three furlongs out that the race began in earnest.
PRINCESS LOMI was not inconvenienced by the tempo of the race and produced a good effort to take command in the closing stages and then remain at the head of affairs. She can probably win again.
An Scaribh, back on turf, came from well off the pace and kept on well inside the last, but he was unable to reach the winner. A stronger end-to-end gallop would have suited him better.
Bouggler made a spirited bid, but he was outpaced by the first two in the final furlong. He should win a race andwould be interesting in a more strongly-run affair.
Graylyn Ruby was entitled to do much better on previous form and it was perhaps thelack of a constant gallop which counted against him.
It certainly counted against recent course and distance Caffari, who refused to settle under restraint and consequently pulled the saddle up her neck. She was pulled-up turning for home.
Sea Admiral was disappointing, but is worth another chance when they go a proper end-to-end gallop.
