Toms Laughter made all, shaken up and ran on
Prince Of Delphi held up, raced keenly, headway over 1f out, ridden to chase winner inside final furlong, stayed on
Mandarin Spirit held up in touch, pulled hard, ridden over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
Bateleur prominent, ridden over 2f out, weakened final furlong
Bertie Swift chased winner over 3f, weakened over 1f out
Balakiref tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Resplendent Alpha held up, pulled hard, edged right over 1f out, eased
Prince Of Delphi was held up until making headway over a furlong out and kept on. He is running well without getting his head in front, but the feeling was that others gave the winner too much of an easy time in front.
Bateleur never really got into the hunt, Bertie Swift showed early speed towards the centre, and Balakiref, winner of this race for the previous two years, chased the winner until fading in the final furlong and clearly has yet to come back to his best.
