There was little change in the order throughout this race and the front three filled those places at the finish, with PRINCELYWALLYWOGAN scoring for the third time this season for John Harris. He had tracked the leader throughout and forced his head in front close home. The handicapper could have the measure of him from now on.

Zach's Harmoney had a 6lb pull for a three-length beating by the winner at Nottingham last time, and narrowed that margin under a positive ride. He was given a soft lead and that played right into his hands in the closing stages as he only found the in-form winner too good close home. He may not have things so easy next time, but is getting there.

Aphrodisia made progress against the far rail over two furlongs out, but her run flattened out inside the final furlong and the handicapper may have had his say on her for the time being.
