Kingswinford in touch, outpaced 3f out, ran on final furlong

Meg Jicaro behind, hung left over 3f out, ridden 2f out, kept on inside final furlong

Riflessione prominent until ridden and weakened well over 1f out

Campbeltown Trader not much room start, outpaced

Haulit dwelt, outpaced

Silent Treatment prominent over 2f

There was no need for the scheduled morning inspection, as the rain failed to materialise and the jockeys described the ground as slow but not as bad as it could have been.

The stalls on the straight course had been moved to the stands' side and they raced up that rail, whereas the previous day all the action had been down the centre-to-far side.

This juvenile maiden was nothing to get carried away with, but experience counted for plenty as those with races under their belts filled the first four places.

PENNY''S GIFT had shown enough on her debut at Salisbury last time when placed behind a better-fancied stablemate to warrant interest. She should have no problems in getting a sixth furlong as long as she progresses, and has a few sales raceentries.

Lesley's Choice will need faster ground to be seen at his best if his breeding is anything to go by, while Kingswinford plugged on as is if he wants a bit further but has had quite a few chances now.
