Mango Catcher held up towards rear, steady progress from 6th, went 3rd approaching 2 out, took narrow advantage last, pushed clear, readily

Fuel Cell held up, struggling 5th, left poor 4th when hampered and unseated rider last, rider brought horse down
Primitive Academy, a fortunate winner at Leicester in December when blinkered for the first time but poor afterwards, bounced back to form here but the question now is whether he can build on this effort. The Leicester win was his only victory to date.
Top Achiever, who has taken a hike in the weights since winning at Hereford in March, was put firmly in his place from two out and would have been fourth if Sonic Anthem had not come down at the last. He looks in the grip of the handicapper at present.
Poliglotti and Space Star, both held at the time, were forced to jump the finalobstacle on the chase track when carried out after the last, which they managed tidily.
