Rateable Value prominent, ridden and lost place 7f out, soon behind, passed beaten horses final 3f
Quick Draw chased leaders until weakened 4f out
Eyesrdancing in touch, outpaced when lost footing on bend 7f out, soon behind
Cilrhiwviv prominent until weakened 5f out
Court Drama held up in rear, good headway 6f out, disputed 3rd place 4f out, weakened quickly 3f out
Billybob Bathwick chased leaders until weakened quickly 4f out
Broadcasting mid-division, dropped to rear after 6f, driven along halfway, tailed off final 6f
The well-supported winner was allowed to dictate for much of the second circuit. Set alight by Timmy Murphy on straightening up, the David Pipe-trained winner went clear with ears pricked and scored with more in hand than the eventual margin suggests. It was to his credit he maintained the gallop, and Bob Run was unable to seriously eat into his advantage.
Hector Barbossa and Silver Story were made tolike very one-paced by the principals although both shaped with a degree of promise.
Avec Moi Ce Soir ran well for a long way and can improve, while Lundy Star shaped with a certain amount of promise.
