Soleil Fix led, blundered 10th, blundered and almost unseated rider last, soon headed, rallied gamely under pressure to get back up near finish
Megaton chased leader, ridden and mistake 2 out, left in narrow lead by winner's blunder at last, kept on under pressure, just caught
Annie Fleetwood chased leaders, outpaced by leading pair 10th, kept on gamely in straight
Floreana in touch until outpaced from 10th
Pan The Man in touch, ridden 10th, gradually faded
Almizan mid-division, bumped 9th, soon outpaced
Sandymac mid-division, slightly hampered 10th, no danger after
Whizbang mid-division, jumped right and bumped 9th, soon weakened
Minella Lodge towards rear, struggling when blundered 8th, soon well behind
Follow Your Heart jumped stickily in rear, blundered 4th, soon tailed off
Bay Mouse in touch, mistake 6th, ridden after 8th, soon weakened, well behind when pulled up before last
Novi Sad in rear of midfield, weakened 7th, behind when pulled up after next
Sesame Rambler chased leaders until slipped up and unseated rider bend approaching 7th
L´Oiseau held up in rear, headway into 6th when fell 10th
Megaton loves the fast ground, but for much of the way he looked unable to get the eventual winner off the bridle. He achieved that on the long run from three out, but though doing nothing wrong he was worn down by the determined winner.
Floreana needed a confidence-boost following an unfortunate first-fence exit at Huntingdon. She was allowed to gradually work her way into the contest and will have gainedconfidence from this frame finish.
Pan The Man isn't nearly as effective here as at Plumpton. He made a move to chase the leaders going down the back, but was unable to raise his game in the straight.
