Jupon Vert enterprisingly ridden, soon several lengths clear, made all, ridden and stayed on well from 2 out
Star Of Germany behind, headway 8th, went 5 lengths 2nd and driven along after 2 out, never able to challenge and no extra run-in
Past Heritage chased leaders, went 2nd at 8th, blundered 3 out, weakened next
Melford in touch until driven along and weakened 8th
Hidden Talents behind, mistake 2nd, ridden 4th, no danger from 7th
Auditor chased leaders, lost place and hard ridden 5th, soon behind
Tupac Amaru chased leader, blundered 3rd, not fluent and lost 2nd at 4th, weakened 3 out
Dunkerron soon behind, no chance from 7th
Travello prominent, chased winner 6th, screwed next, lost 2nd and weakened 8th
The veteran managed to get away from his rivals to score unchallenged. He will always be a player at this level and is especially effective round here.
Star Of Germany shaped well on a belated chase debut to chase the winner home. He looks to have improved since joining his new trainer and with only five outings in the past couple of seasons still has scope.
Melford had shown up for a long way on his debut for his current trainer, but was unable to build on that over a shorter distance.
