Armaturk raced wide and took keen hold well off pace, poor 7th before 8th, good progress to 8 lengths 2nd 2 out, quickened to challenge on bit when rider got unbalanced and horse fell last, very unlucky

Light Des Mulottes ridden and headway in 4th after 7th, weakening in midfield when blundered 3 out, soon pulled up 2 out

Theme Park jumped badly in rear, tailed off last when fell heavily 4th

They went a merciless gallop in this hunter chase and those who took part up front paid the penalty. REFLECTOR has to be counted a fortunate winner as he had been collared by the strong-travelling Armaturk at the final fence before that rival fluffedhis lines and hit the deck. The winner had finished behind the trailblazing De Luain Gorm at Cheltenham last timer but managed to reverse that form emphatically. However the form is not worth too much as hunter chases over this trip are few and far between.
