GOODWILL PHIL, having his first try for his new trainer after showing some ability in his previous couple of starts, came away from the others, which is quite commendable in the circumstances. He was bought as a future chaser and will be put away until the autumn now.
Search For Gold, third on his debut, once again ran well enough in the context of the race and there should be an opening for him at some stage.
A Perfect Gent had been tailed off on his debut, so this was amuch better effort, and he may be up to landing a modest one of these if connections persist in this division.
