Cute N You Know It chased leaders, went 2nd 5th, mistake 7th, led 10th, stayed on under pressure, held on well
Medic held up towards rear, steady headway 10th, went 2 lengths 2nd next, stayed on same pace, never able to challenge
Carroll´s O´Tully led until after 1st, chased leaders, one pace from 3f out
Named At Dinner mid-division, went prominent 8th, ridden and outpaced 10th, weakened after 3f out
Backscratcher led after 1st, headed 10th, soon lost place
Barracat not fluent, lost place 4th, behind from 7th, tailed off 10th, pulled up before next
Into Action driven along and prominent 7th, mistake and lost place 9th, tailed off next, pulled up before 3 out
Clodagh Valley chased leaders, not fluent 6th, soon lost place and behind, tailed off when pulled up before 8th
Fast Fred held up in rear, went prominent 8th, driven 10th, soon weakened, modest 6th when hit 2 out and unseated rider
But CUTE N YOU KNOW IT had been running well in better company and defied top-weight, leading four out and holding on well. This was only her seventh run over hurdles and shemay still be open to a little more improvement.
The patiently-ridden Medic moved into second place three out but could not reel in the winner - he may just have been outstayed on this step up in trip.
Named At Dinner was disappointing, beaten before stamina became an issue on this step up in trip.
Backscratcher paid the price for racing keenly and setting too strong a pace.
