Analyis of the race

The ground was vastly different from the fast terrain the previous day after 9mm of rain during the morning and the good ground was ideal for BIENHEUREUX to return to winning form. He had not let himself down at Brighton on his previous start but theservices of the experienced Emily Jones proved vital as she went in pursuit of the leader in the final furlong and got up close home. He is what the form book suggests he is and could go back to Brighton on Friday where he could run well again.

Its Moon was held up off the pace but never really got into contention and Traditionalist had soon set up a clear lead but went out like a light once headed.
