Trachonitis held up, headway and switched left over 1f out, shaken up to lead inside final furlong, ran on well
Brief Goodbye always prominent, chased leader halfway, ridden to lead well over 1f out, headed and unable to quicken inside final furlong
Pass The Port held up, headway over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, stayed on
Alfie Noakes started slowly, held up, headway over 4f out, ridden over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Wind Flow chased leaders, ridden over 4f out, weakened over 1f out
Irish Quest led, ridden and headed well over 1f out, hampered and weakened soon after, eased
Power Player chased leader to halfway, weakened well over 2f out
Brief Goodbye returned to form on his reappearance over 1m3f at Windsor 19 days earlier and ran another sound race. He appeared to be travelling as well as anything whenleading well over a furlong out and the longer trip didn't appear too much of a problem. His shrewd trainer can place him to advantage soon.
Pass The Port is another who has been running consistently and he stayed on quite well. He has gone up theweights a little but can continue to give a good account of himself in this sort of company.
Wind Flow had been running well on the all-weather but found this a different proposition in the final furlong after having his chance.
Irish Quest looked a picture in the paddock but continues to disappoint and went out like a light once headed. He is not running up to his decent three-year-old form and should be left alone until showing signs of a revival.
