Kal Barg prefers things a little easier underfoot but still ran a blinder under hisbig weight. He might have been flattered slightly by the winning margin but is still in good heart.
Nezami came through to hold every chance and is a solid operator at this trip under the conditions. He settled a bit better today. Ramatni ran a lot better at this longer trip and dominated from the front until two furlongs out.
It was a similar story for Bellomi, who was given a more patient ride this time and needs improvement to defy his current rating. Flowing Cape, normally ridden nearer to the pace, had the anchor dropped for this seasonal reappearance. He might not have had the clearest of passages but he could be interesting next time.
