Staying On led, ridden over 2f out, headed narrowly over 1f out, battled to regain lead final 100yds, gamely
Commander Cave in touch, ridden over 2f out, led narrowly over 1f out, headed final 100yds, ran on under pressure
Jaser midfield, ridden and headway over 2f out, challenging and every chance well inside final furlong, not quicken towards finish
Flawed Genius held up, headway over 2f out, not clear run over 1f out and again when chasing leaders inside final furlong, kept on but unable to challenge leaders towards finish
Endless Luck chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, slightly outpaced over 1f out, stayed on again towards finish
Duntulm held up, headway when not clear run over 2f out, not clear run again well over 1f out, soon ridden and hung left, one pace well inside final furlong
Tiger Dream in touch, ridden and outpaced over 2f out, kept on again inside final furlong without threatening leaders
Jedediah in rear, ridden and headway when not clear run and tried to switch right over 1f out, staying on when not clear run again inside final furlong, no impression final 100yds
Zakhaaref prominent, ridden when challenging 2f out, weakened well over 1f out
Huzzah raced keenly in midfield, effort over 2f out, no impression, weakened final furlong
Austintatious slowly into stride, raced keenly and soon prominent, ridden and weakened over 2f out
Burnwynd Boy midfield, pushed along 3f out, soon weakened
Unbreak My Heart held up, ridden over 2f out, beaten over 1f out
Commander Cave has been a revelation this spring andwas only just piped in his bid for a four-timer on ground quick enough for him. He hit the front briefly approaching the final furlong and didn't do a lot wrong.
Jaser has landed touches in soft ground races at Nottingham probably found the groundtoo lively. When making his move on the outside he tended to hang in.
Flawed Genius looked unlucky but how unlucky is open to debate. He was twice denied a run from nearing the final furlong but seemed to flatten out once in the clear.
exactly flew once a gap appeared.
Tiger Dream never really got seriously involved and, though a little out of his depth, shouldn't be discarded yet. Zakhaaref seems a nice type and was bang in the firing line until weakening well over two out. He'll be interesting back in trip.
Huzzah was pretty keen early on while Austintatious was soon with the leaders after missing the kick only to weaken by the two pole.
