Fyodor raced keenly in midfield, headway when not much room just over 1f out, ran on to burst through gap and lead well inside final furlong, just held on final strides
Intrepid Jack held up, shaken up when switched right and headway entering final furlong, strong run towards finish, just failed
Invincible Force raced keenly, led, ridden over 1f out, headed well inside final furlong, not quicken final strides
Northern Fling always prominent, pushed along halfway, ridden to challenge from over 1f out, no extra well inside final furlong
Knot In Wood held up, ridden over 1f out, stayed on well final furlong, not reach leaders
Green Manalishi midfield, effort over 1f out, one pace inside final furlong
Bond City prominent, ridden 1f out, soon beaten
Indian Trail held up, headway halfway, ridden to challenge over 1f out, faded well inside final furlong
Intrepid Jack went mighty close as he returned from injury with a fine effort having been anchored out the back. He was flying at the finishand would have won in another couple of strides. He could be an interesting proposition as he bids to go one better in next month's Wokingham.
Invincible Force did best of those on the front end and led in the first-time blinkers until well insidethe final furlong. He's another not badly treated and seemed to enjoy more forceful tactics.
Knot In Wood is another leading fancy heading for the Wokingham. He stuck on quite well although he never got in a blow at the leaders.
Green Manalishi showed good pace until the closing stages. He's likely to come on for this. Bond City, who prefers it softer, was with the leader for a long way before fading, while Indian Trail was given a patient ride and came through to hold every chance until weakening approaching the final furlong.
