Look Busy prominent, headway to challenge well over 1f out, ridden to lead approaching final furlong, kept on well
Aegean Dancer chased leaders, headway well over 1f out, soon ridden and stayed on inside final furlong, took 2nd near finish
Something led, ridden along well over 1f out, driven and headed approaching final furlong, kept on same pace
Utmost Respect close up, ridden along and outpaced halfway, headway over 1f out, kept on under pressure inside final furlong
Vhujon prominent, ridden along when not much room 2f out, soon driven and weakened over 1f out
Not My Choice stumbled start, always in rear
Blue Maeve went left start, always behind
Ridden to lead approaching the final furlong, she soon gained the upper hand. Her jockey felt that she would have appreciated more cover, but in a small field, and racing tight, he had little option but to be positive on her. There could be even more to come from her.
Aegean Dancer, at his best under these conditions, ran a fine race in second, just ahead of Something, who showed bags of speed to lead the field until the winner went on. This is the first time he has run overthe minimum trip.
Vhujon showed dash, but was put in his place when the race began in earnest.
Not My Choice spoiled his chance by stumbling at the start.
