Bonny Rose chased leader, ridden along over 2f out, driven over 1f out and kept on same pace
Canary Islands tracked leaders, headway on inner 2f out and soon ridden, driven entering final furlong and kept on same pace
Joinedupwriting chased leaders, pushed along and slightly outpaced over 3f out, headway 2f out, soon ridden and one pace approaching final furlong
Rankayo Hitam held up towards rear, headway 3f out, ridden along 2f out and soon no impression
Khazina held up, always towards rear
Thunderstruck always in rear
Ninefineirishmen was well behind the winner last time at Warwick, but shaped much better on this faster ground. He had the run of the race, but he kept on well and was caught only well inside the final furlong. On this evidence, he should find a race. Bonny Rose showed her reappearance form to be all wrong (she was hampered at the start), with a sound enough run in third, though like the others in the first four, she raced close to the gallop.
