Meethaaq was another to show that he will soon be making a splash with a taking effort on his debut. He was always close up and followed through with the winner two out. His rider was keen not to give him too hard a race first time out and never brandished the whip at any stage. He will soon repay this kindness and a lot more will be heard from him.
