ANY GIVEN DAY was shoved along after being slowly into his stride to get a prominent pitch before being reined in as he raced on the outside of the pack into the bottom bend. He was again shoved along to early in the straight but drew clear, full value for the wide margin with the race won fully 2f out.
He has improved for fast ground and remains relatively lightly raced with his form working out reasonably well.
King Supreme won the separate race for second and remains consistent back on turf after his all-weather win.
King Of Pentacles was one of those to race keenly midrace as the pace dipped, but he kept on well enough over this longer trip without seeing which way the winner went.
Si Belle is not very big but she looks a staying type. She did not see much daylight locked away on the inside rail until going to the final 2f. She plugged on when in the clear and can improve on the bareform of this first run on turf.
No Rules continues to progress with her racing and she kept on against the inside rail to finish clear of the rest without threatening a place.
Okafranca was reported to have been unsuited to the ground.
