Knockara Star in touch, lost place 6f out
Gaelic Prince mid-division, lost place 6f out
Sheriff´s Falcon held up in midfield, lost place 6f out

Quampbel in rear, lost touch 7f out, soon tailed off, virtually pulled up
Always travelling well just behind the leaders, the winner went clear in the straight to turn this race into a procession. A likeable sort, who really looked the part, he had been bought by Alan Swinbank for 10,000gns as an unbroken store at Doncaster last year. He will go to Aintree in a couple of weeks time and then he may be put by until the turn of the year and be aimed at championship races.
Quiver Hill was unlucky to bump into such a talented rival. He came out easily best of the rest and looks a decent prospect.
Desert Stag, with two creditable runs under his belt, was unable to capitalise on his experience and was firmly put in his place in the last half-mile.
The Kealshore Kid failed to build on hispromising outing last time.
