Ballyhale tracked leaders, slight lead 3 out, driven clear run-in
Harry Flashman tracked leaders, went 2nd approaching last, kept on same pace
Bafana Boy held up, effort 10th, soon ridden, hung left and took never dangerous 3rd soon after last
Alderman Rose made most to 3 out, weakened approaching last
Lethem Air with leaders, outpaced and lost place 10th, no chance after
Monolith ran in snatches, chased leaders, drriven 2nd and 7th, weakened 2 out
Spring Breeze prominent, reminders after 7th, soon lost place, tailed off 9th
Harry Flashman would surely have given the winner more to do had he hurdled a little more slickly down the back straight. A keen-going horse, his turn will come.
Alderman Rose had every chance, but faded from the second-last, while Monolith turned in a lacklustre display.
