Vic Venturi was the horse to catch approaching the last but another good jump from Emma Jane helped her cause and she got the better of the battle to make it two wins on the trot. The Kerry National could be the long term target.
Vic Venturi ran his best race for some time and having taken over at the head of the field after jumping the third last, he still led jumping the last before being wore down close home. He could follow a similar route to the winner and indeed, theGalway Plate may be better suited to him.
Bothar Na was never travelling before being pulled up. He was found to be post-race normal after being examined after the race at the request of the stewards. [JOH]
