A reliable type despite finding success hard to come by over fences, she loves this fast ground and having run very encouragingly on seasonal return, everything was in place for her here and, with the yardfiring, she got the job done in good style.
Granite Man travelled well off the pace before after the winner through and at the bottom turn but he was beginning to get tapped for speed when blundering the third last and he wouldn't have troubled the winner any way. Still, there was a degree of encouragement to be taken from this return given the problems he's had and he might be able to build on this.
Front-runner Optimistic Alfie weakened right away after the fourth last but he was once again hindered by jumping errors.
David England reported that Top Dawn was unsuited by the fast ground.
Colin Bolger reported that Marado finished distressed.
