Stellenbosch chased clear leader until 7th, closed and left 2nd again next, led after 3 out, soon clear, not extended
Mysaynoway led, clear until after 7th, headed after 3 out, no chance with winner
A Little More took keen hold, held up in rear, jumped awkwardly 5th, mistake 7th, outpaced and left modest 4th 8th, went 3rd near finish
Peaceful Means took keen hold, held up towards rear, headway 6th, left 3rd 8th, soon ridden, weakened next, lost 3rd near finish
Brushford took keen hold, in touch until dropped to rear 6th, lost touch 8th, tailed off
Another Storm chased leaders, went 2nd 7th, pressing leader when blundered badly and unseated rider 8th
With an official rating of 120, he had plenty in hand of his rivals on the book and having always had the leader in his sights, he cruised up the inside to lead over two furlongs out and clear away from some pretty ordinary rivals.
He's held his own in much stronger races than this and having conserved his novice status for this campaign, he should have a prosperous campaign, and a valuable handicap at Market Rasen in the summer is now on the agenda according to Charlie Mann.
A Little More never really got into it tackling much faster ground than last time and he looks only modest, while Peaceful Means began to feel the heat some four furlongs out and her finishing effort was very disappointing, given she'd been shaping as though she needed this longer trip.
