Analyis of the race

Only an average bumper but it was taken in style by FOOLISH CLICHE, who had been a 50-1 shot on her debut when well beaten on softer ground last month. Better was expected on this fast surface and so it proved. She could do no more than win the way she did and there must be a chance she can follow up under a penalty in this sort of company.

Chesil Beach Boy was a bit free on his debut but proved no match for the winner up the straight. However, this was not a bad debut effort and he can only improve for the experience.

Magical Treasure is related to a hurdles winner and, on this evidence, that game will suit him better with this run under his belt.
